Hi ! My name is Angelica and I have two AST b itches, Embla and Dimma. Embla is litter sister to "Pluto" here at the board. I Work Embla in obedience and "rapport" I dont know the english word, but you send your dog back and forth between different stations. It was used do send messages during wars before we had transistor radios. She really enjoys rapport, but she´s not so fond of the obedience =) Dimma is just a family pet, we decided to get her cause we wanted another dog to work with, but unfortunately she´s no working material, something we found out after we got her. Bu we love her and she follows us to competitions as a mascot =)

Hello Everyone! I got into this breed thru my daughter, who brought their mother home over 3yrs ago. My first choice is a Rotty, but, after raising 4-siblings for nearly 4-yrs, I'd say it is neck and neck for my passion of the two breeds. They have introduced me to a whole new world of dog ownership, I can, as I know anyone of you could say, they are a breed apart, especially in the bite area. I have 3-boys, 1-girl from the same litter and it's been a learning experience to say the least. My daughters and I have learned to break of squabbles the pit style of course and although we can laugh at ourselves whenever we bring up those horrible memories of the fights, we respect the fact these dogs are very powerful indeed and need strong handling. I am of course thoroughly in love with this breed and struggle with the Breed Specific crap going on everywhere as I am sure we all do. A TOAST TO THE ALL AMERICAN BREED!

Hi John, Everyone; My name is Rhonda Dilworth and I have three dogs in my yard: a 13 yr. old pit/lab-rescue named Bridgette, a 1 1/2 yr. old rednose APBT-rescue named Butkus, and my 3 yr. old AST foundation female, Princess, who is being shown currently in the conformation ring. Princess is currently ranked one of the top females in the Nation (if not # 1) and will retire from the AKC forum at the end of the year. We want to explore some other doggie sports! We've been watching the obedience and agility rings at the AKC shows-we want to get certified as a Therapy Dog. Princess currently visits group home children (abandoned, abused kids) and does PR work when we travel to shows. She's a real ham (and so is her mommy ) Buddy will get an ILP # from the AKC and UKC sometime this year to compete in obedience and maybe SCH and Princess is Dual registered. She is from the White Rock Kennels in TX. You may see her next year, John. She will go to stay with Olaf for awhile to "visit" with Diego Although I've been with AST's and APBT's for 23 years, Princess will be the mother of my first home bred litter. I have high hopes for her puppies! Leri, I'm going to be at your door sooooooon

Hello there!
My name is Ulrike, aka Ulli and I live in Germany. I`m 31 years old. I own dogs sice 15 years and I`m acitve in schutzhundesport since 7 years. My first dog was an Bullterrier. I saw the first Am. Staffs at an dogshow and I really like them. Two weeks later I were the proud owner of an Am. Staff. bitch.
At the moment I own 2 Staffs (A bitcht aka Kira, she is 7 years old and a male aka Zeus, he is 4 years old) and an Malinos male aka Shadow, he is 14 month old). But I only work with Zeus and Shadow. Kira is my first Am. Staff. and my housedog, becauce she is not hard enough for this kind of sport. Zeus has finished his IPO I and his Germany Championtitle. I will try to make the IPO II with him, but I`m not sure now, becauce we have a problem at the moment. Shadow is doing very good and I think he will be a great working-dog.
Regards to all of you! ;D Ulli
