How is the best way to crate train your pup?
is it necesary to take some days-weeks off to learn good crate training?

Yes, you need to stay at home, for how long I don´t know. But think about feeding times, take the dog out to do their "toilet", learn to be left alone... I learn from my "pupbuyers" that it seems more difficult to leave an AST alone at the house, they are so "leaderfriendly", but to learn when they are young is good. I work at home, I never leave pups by my self, but thats what I heard. Carina Good good luck!

How old is your pup?
How long are you away from home each day?

Hi ,
Yes some pups dont really like walking out , especially on a leash. What i always do is taking a toy with me and while walking i show the toy alot and also play in between alot. That way the pup will understand and think that going out for a walk is fun and they like fun things.
Good luck

yes, I find you should correct it , the pup should know you are his leader and you can touch anything. What you can do is, when you give food in his bowl you can add some pieces by putting your hand in the bowl and put a piece in, you can start with an empty bowl or with a bowl with little food in it. So after a while you pup notice you are not taking his food but that it is just very nice when you come and put your hand in the bowl because that means he is getting some extra.
Hope this helps

Hi : that is not a desirable behaviour, you must correct it!!!. Never take off your hand when he growls!!! I would try putting my hand in the food bowl, if growls, a big "no" and take of the food, until he stops doing it. when he stops, move the hand and touch him, if growls repeat taking off the food. if this dòesn`t work, please let me know, that is a behaviour that must be corrected as soon as possible. I hope you understand my post, i have a really bad english!!!
