Hee Kim, I'll try to explain in English how we learn our people to carry the dog; The dogs should be vertical in front of you. You put one arm between the front legs and lay your hand behind the frontleg. (The one which is not at the side of your body, but the otherone) Than you put your other arm before the rearlegs under the belly and put your hand at the side. Ofcourse you have your knees bent and a straight back for your own health en safety for the dog! ;D When you have your arms at the right place, you pull the dog against your chest. (Not to hard ofcourse! THe dog's gotta breath! ) The dog can go nowhere now, his head can lean on your arm and his back is straight. His rear end is hanging and you can't hurt him this way. Than rise up and voila.. you're carrying your dog the right way! If you don't completely get it, let me know, so I can email you in Dutch.. Greetz, Mo

Hee Kim, This way is ofcourse for the adult dog. Try to carry a pup this way, and you can't place your other hand! ;D So, for a pup; the most important thing, is the back! It should be straight.. Never pull a pup up at his front legs!! Dog's have no.. how do you call it? Keybone?! ;D Oh... Collarbone ofcourse!! And.. the pup have to feel safety, so always put him to your chest... Hope to have helped you a little bit. Greetz, Mo

I place my whole arm underneath the pups body ..starting at the rear end..and ended at the chest. But it is important to hold your pup well ..with one or two hands. If i'd do it with two hands i'd put one hand under the buns and the other on the chest ...underneath the neck.
