Hi there! If anybody is interested you can see on my homepage when my amstaff do the test (see MH-test) that Kent Svartenberg has been using in his doctor dissertation. I also think that it must have been written in english to. May be its possible to read it online in english. I will tryfigure it out. Maria

Pluto, if you read this. An Amstaff in Sweden goes for test again! People who´s talking about that "Staffowner" are afraid of this tests can go to !#"#&! Kent Svartenbergs investigation was grounded of at least 50 dogs doing the MH, it means that many Amstaffowner do the test. He couldn´t investigate group no 4 = daschhounds and group number 9 company dogs. Carina

Of course I will do Another thing I read to day in "Dogsport Special" (Swedish Kennel Club related paper)was: The law about dangerous dogs in Italy. They force owner of 92! different breeds to take special incurance for the dogs who´s special dangerous. Amstaff of course one of the breed I guess, but the text is about popular familydogs like for exemple Collie and S:t Bernhard. Sorry to say, but since I read all bad things about Amstaffs I always surch for bad things about other breeds. It will take the "eyes" away from our breed. A short time a go it was a big text in the evening posts frontside: " Dog bite a little girl in face and her nose fall of". Terribly, but I open the paper slowly and think "hope it´s not one of the try to look like an Amstaff-dogs!" YES! It was a Collie- there you have everybody, sweet lovely Collie bite a little girl. Rottweiler has done a lot of damage in Sweden the last time. Real, pure Amstaff I only knew about two accidents in Sweden since I get my first AST, four years ago. Carina

I am in contact with someone in germany - he is telling me that there might be a change in the laws against our breeds. As soon as i know more details i will let you all know - i think this is a positieve thing for a change.

Very good!
And another good thing happend to me, tomorrow when I go to mentalhealth/temperamenttest there were no place for me because the rule: Workingclassdogs go first. They put me in, my Workingdogs Club really care about Amstaffs and really want to help. Carina

So your club has put your amstaff in the workingclass :-)
If we only had a recognized workingclass breed , im sure it would have been much easier. If boxers can do it ...we sure would be doing great.

Yes my Amstaffs are Workingclass dogs at my Workingdog Club But after my male´s MH-test he´s not welcome back ;D, the moment they invite him to play, he REALLY PLAY. "Trasan" the testleader hold in her hand have an Amstaff hangin one meter over the grass. She laugh and get a little surprise over his will to play. I can tell that "Trasan" of course brake. ;D ;D ;D Carina

Now I find some description about "Boldness" in English, I have it on paper. Maybe John can help me to place it here, I have no scanner.
If it´s OK John, I can send the paper with ordinary post to you?
