I've noticed alot of people on this forum mentioning the Tex bloodline. I am curious about what dogs you are talking about.

I mention tex line also (i found that in a magazine about amstaffs) magazine storey: it is written in french , i resume it a bit 3 basic lines tex xpert white rock Tex; no big dogs, ligne francaise, from sindelars line, red colour, developped head, big jaws, character hard, difficult to show. x-pert big, strong, bitches very female-looking, character is equal, ligne american, SCHALER, museau pointed and long white rock big dog, american line, base RUFFIAN, great body, good in proportion, elegant, character for some too soft, easy for showing. Because of this explanation I was asking myself the question (i don't think this magazine is right on this issue) It is rather a little bit subjective. i think So which lines are there eventually I know X-pert is one, i though of ruffian too casino takes ruffian and x-pert. can you help me out

Hi there, Tex wasn't a line, it was just a kennel name. The owner, Christian Digard died some years ago. He was one of the first in France to produce Ast and to import dogs from US. His kennel was based on Sindelar's, tippit's and willynwood dogs. His selection: stocky dogs with very hard temperament. His production had a large influence in France and a lot of breeders here had Tex's dogs as kennel foundation. I hope it help...
