I haven't read the articles yet , but for so far , i think its one dogowner that had his dog inside the car. I also don't understand why this happens , and why passing people didnt see it before it was too late.
Heat is terrible for animals , and like carla's saying , they can't protect themselves against the heat. We keep our dogs inside as much as possible when its above 25 degrees celcius , and we always have some shade for them. Training in this heat is impossible.

Hello Ingunn!
This spring and before the hot july-weather I mostly work with my Amstaffs at Workingclub and the woods, haven´t meet or talk with Amstaffpeople for a while. But when I talk with Swedish Kennel Club lately, we talk about Norway and banning dogs, and just Amstaff. The meaning they have is: You can´t ban a breed, there will came another who scares people... In paper in Sweden lately, the must happenings you can read about is Rottweilers attacking people. The "dogpeople" I meet, when I´m around, like Amstaffs, there´s no hard feelings about the breed. I planned for some shows att SKC in august, then I will meet Amstaffpeople and heard about the rumor.
The planning I read about in Sweden is: "Driverslicence" for dogowner, owner of "fightingdogs","murderdogs"etc. In this argument I never heard the word Amstaff. Carina

Well , i know now that three dogs died at the show , if they where all kept in cars , is difficult to tell. The one i got the link from , with those terrible pictures was the only one i got.
Stupid people , and we don't understand how dumb someone can be in this kind of weather.

Hallo again! This time I will tell about something good, it´s a sad story with a stupid dogowner, but the end is good. Again at a show in Sweden, last summer, a women leave an eight weeks old puppy in the car in the heat. They call for her in the speakers time after time and she doesn´t listen. The veterinary brake the window and help the little puppy. They surch for the owner and find her busy in the ring with her dogs. They give the puppy to her and tell her that she´s doing wrong. After a while the vet find the little dog lonely in a cage feeling bad, they have to help it again! That woman punishment is: They throw her out from the Swedish Kennel Club for all the time. She can´t registry puppys and of course never again went for a show, at least not at the SKC- shows. I hope her breedclub stop her to. Carina
