I last saw two clowns on tv which could heal the patients in hospitals.
Are there dogs allowed to do such a job , like clinic-dog ?
Maybe it' s a good idea. I have seen some issues about nursing kids which were mentally sick, in the yard of the clinic they could go for a walk and visite all the animals (sheep, horses, ducks.)
Are they allready using dogs for such therapy?

in the USA we do have theripy dogs. they have to pass a www.akc.org/love/cgc/index.cfmCGC test and a www.atts.org/index.html TT TEST along with other things. A friend that owns 1 of my dogs does go and visit Nursing homes and brings joy to a lot of peeps. there are also some dogs that help in therepy too. where people brush them or play ball. this builds up muscles or takes the mind off pain... I saw a show about it on t.v once ......

Im not sure that our breed has a good name overhere in europe. I havent heard about anyone using any breed overhere as therapy dog , maybe they like clowns better. I know thatwhen a human pets ( touching ) a dog , the heart rate will drop and its a therapy for sick people to have a dog there. Proberbly , europe havent been watching the results yet , but who knows that this might change some day.
