thanks so much Kim to send me a pictures of Lola's father, well about our choice direction, we decide to combinate Lola and Sonic because i had see in the past litter of Sonic the high quality puppies and Lola is also a nice dogs with good show result we think to do a exellenct combination for high show quality dogs, also we need to do a litter with different bloodline and to use in future this puppies in another our litter to come back in our bloodline. Sometimes we need to do a different combination with different bloodline but if we want to have a very high quality we must use only nice dogs with a great parent back. Lola now is so big i think in the first week ok april we can see if Lola and Sonic we did a nice job Greetings from Italy Omar

I agree , breeding is looking way ahead , certainly when you are just breeding occasionly like us , you need to select your dogs well. Sonic we all know gave very high quality show dogs , he does need some better temperament - or he isnt learned that much :-) But in a household with several high temperamented dogs , one clam and very easy going dog is just a blessing. Sonic best qualities arehis head and his movement , those are exeptional excellent for us. Lola on the other hand is a well proportioned , kind , calm, not fast impressed female , but she may have a little more height , something sonic has plenty of. So movement , type , bloodline , breeding back later gave us the idea to try this combination out. We are partners in breeding and good friends , so if we have the opportunity , we think its the best way to give this world some excellent dogs back.
Thats our idea of breeding.

Good luck with your upcoming litter..both are very beautiful dogs I have noticed that more AST in North America are shy these days..have you noticed the same thing in Europe or is proper temperament still a top priority with breeders there..(I know it is with you, John ;D)

Thanks Tracey , im sure they will be great ..and not shy :-)
We don't see alot of dogs like ours , thats true . Maybe there are just too many people doing breeding and too many owners doing nothing with their dogs. If you look at the reason why certain dogs where originally bred , well thats far away from what those dogs are doing now. They miss the original purpes ( dont know the word) , not that amstaffs or Apbt have to fight , no they have been farmdogs , protecting the land and its owners.
So i see what you mean ..dogs are more a status symbol now.

Well,
You'r both right, here in our country(belgium) there are way to many people who buy a pitbull or an amstaff for status symbol, here it is more a state of being macho. Some people here buy a pitbull (without papers) because this is the easiest and sheapest way for showing their power of being macho (as they think). An amstaff is difficult because this dog is more expensive and breeders do ask question about the pup's future.
When I see a macho-person walking in the street with a pit or amstaff on their side I do get the shiver (? good spelling?) when you pass by; the dog starts to pull his leash as his "master" likes it a lot if his machobehaviour is projected into the dog. I hope you understand what I mean.
they use their dog as if they use their cars (really powered up with big texts, big bumpers, big wheels, hard noise,...
Well if I was a breeder you won't get the choise buying an amstaff/pit if you are only impressed by the body of the dog and not his character.

I cant agree more kim. If only the people where a bit more human , and leave the dogs for what they are.. a part of our lives , to be enjoyed and loved. Well i could write a book about it but i wont.
